What is the Vendor Sponsor Program?

This program was created to give design-related businesses a place to connect with the Alliance membership. There are three levels within the program, each offering a range of advertisement and exposure from which the vendor partners can choose. A sponsorship period spans two years from the date of joining, in order to allow each vendor an opportunity to participate in the Alliance Vendor Tradeshow (see below for more information). Vendors are encouraged to offer the Alliance members a discounted rate on the vendor products and/or services provided. About Us

Originally founded in 1996 as the Triangle NC Chapter of the Interior Design Society, the group reorganized in 2011, becoming the Alliance of Interior Designers. Created for designers, by designers the objective of the Alliance is to provide its members with trade-related support, education and networking opportunities through regular meetings, community service and special projects. The Alliance of Interior Designers is based in the Triangle area and is currently comprised of over fifty local design professionals.


Meeting Attendance

The Alliance has a Spring and Fall Open House every April and October. This social platform provides non-members in the design community an opportunity to find out more about joining The Alliance. It is at these evening meetings that Vendor Sponsors will be able to attend and network with our members. The monthly daytime meetings are closed to non-hosting Vendor Sponsors, as these are business related meetings and not considered open networking events.


Program Levels

Silver – $500

  • Two (2) e-blasts sent out to the Alliance members within the two year sponsorship period.
  • Preferred location and discounted rate at the Alliance Vendor Tradeshow, as well as special thanks in the Tradeshow Directory. The location will be on a first come/first serve basis.
  • The vendor name and website link on the Alliance website.
  • The vendor name and website link in the Alliance quarterly newsletter.
  • The Alliance logo on the vendor’s website, which will be provided by the Alliance.

Gold – $750.00

  • Three (3) e-blasts sent out to the Alliance members within the two year period.
  • Preferred location and discounted rate at the Alliance Vendor Tradeshow, as well as special thanks in the Tradeshow Directory. The location will be on a first come/first serve basis.
  • The vendor name and website link on the Alliance website.
  • The vendor name and website link in the Alliance quarterly newsletter.
  • Two (2) Alliance LinkedIn or Facebook posting.
  • The Alliance logo on the vendor’s website, which will be provided by the Alliance.

Platinum – $1,500

  • Three (3) e-blasts sent out to the Alliance members within the two year period.
  • Preferred location and 50% discount on space at the Alliance Vendor Tradeshow, as well as special thanks in the Tradeshow Directory. The location will be on a first come/first serve basis.
  • The vendor name and website link on the Alliance website.
  • The vendor name and website link in the Alliance quarterly newsletter.
  • Four (4) Alliance LinkedIn or Facebook postings.
  • Host an Alliance meeting at a location of the vendor’s choosing. The vendor will provide refreshments for membership and have the opportunity to present during the meeting, in addition to any other speakers coordinated by AID.
  • The Alliance logo on the vendor’s website, which will be provided by the Alliance.

Vendor Tradeshow

The Vendor Tradeshow, sponsored by the Alliance of Interior Designers, has proven to be a successful and effective marketing tool for local vendors to promote their businesses to the design community. The Vendor Tradeshow will be held every other year at a convention space in the Triangle area and attended by members of the Alliance, as well as other local designers.

Vendors will have a space to display their products and services. Space locations are based on a first come/first serve basis. Vendor Sponsors will receive a discounted rate on their space. Tables and lunch will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for vendors to network with the design community and to increase brand visibility.
