We are a professional association made up of specialists in residential interior design. There are currently two levels of membership:  Designer & Student. Please contact Director of Membership Linda Boylan BEFORE submitting an application. The membership requirements are as follows:


All Designers, regardless of employment, must meet at least one of the minimum requirements listed below to qualify for Membership in AID:

1. Four-year Accredited Interior Design Degree; or

2. Two-year Accredited Interior Design Degree plus two years of documented full-time industry related experience; or

3. Four years of full time experience; or

4. Proof of certification (including NCIDQ, CQRID, NKBA and RIDE).


To qualify as a Student Member of AID, an applicant must be enrolled in 2 or 4 year Interior Design degree program. Date for projected graduation should be provided and reviewed annually.
