Our vision is to be the leader in actively supporting and educating qualified designers

Overview

The Alliance of Interior Designers’ goal is to provide education and networking opportunities through regular meetings, community service and special projects. We are a dynamic & active organization that provides opportunities for its members to grow in their profession and business. Our monthly meetings act as an arena to meet & hear from local companies who provide valuable services to interior designers.

Relevant and valuable educational seminars help members stay fresh & knowledgeable. Getting to know fellow colleagues allows us to benefit from the gifts & talents of others, while enjoying the support we all need. The expertise of an interior designer goes beyond providing services to our clients. Working with local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the SECU Family House and Church in the Woods, we’re able to serve our community.

History

Originally founded in 1996 as the Triangle NC Chapter of the Interior Design Society, we reorganized in 2011, becoming the Alliance of Interior Designers. This gave our group of design professionals the ability to tighten our standards and focus more closely on a mission of supporting the creative process and ongoing educational needs of our diverse and innovative membership.

We encourage each new member to learn about our group’s history, which began in 1996. Each designer can better understand the value of being a member of this organization when they learn about our extensive volunteer work and community involvement and how that exposure benefits us all.”
